Sky’s San Diego Adventure

Sky is back from his trip to California. He stayed in a hostel in San Diego and had the time of his life. I knew he would–the people who stay in hostels are usually really fun. Of course, they may have been too much fun–they went across the border to Tijuana and got stinking drunk. Sky ended up taking care of an Italian dude who was insisting on sleeping on the steps of the hostel. After San Diego, he went to LA to visit a friend, and wasn’t impressed at all. I think she only took him to the Beverly Hills part of the city, because judging from Stan’s photos, there are a heck of a lot of cool things to see. At any rate, he came back unscathed and wiser for the experience. Sky’s always been a homebody–I’m happy to see him interested in going places. He has an opportunity to return to San Diego next summer and work at the hostel. I hope he decides to do it.
