I’ve been a fan of his for a while. He really puts a face on homelessness and poverty. Here’s what he has to say about the girl pictured above:
she’s from the bay area. but things went bad last time. so she’s been gone till now. says she lost her cat, her apartment, and her fiance all on the same weekend. so she up and split. went north.
Sometimes I feel as though I’m really close to that edge sometimes myself. I wish I could give her a hug.
