Tis the Season for Fighting and Smoking

I’m getting three new kids on Monday. This is a relief, because I thought we were getting nine. The six other kids they were going to send were fighting. They decided to give them in-school suspension instead. I’m getting the kids who were caught smoking weed. You see, smoking weed is a much more dire offense than beating someone up. This is how it seems to go. Drugs are evil, fighting is just boys being boys.

   I bet if they’d been girls fighting they wouldn’t have let them off. Boys can’t control themselves, see, or so we’re told.
