"I like Tom's idea; it seems quite obious they would have a focus on circularity; they would have an understanding of celestial mechnics. Furthermore--

You're talking about the balloons now?

I'm talking about all sentient life on the planet. I think that's what Tom was saying. I think I agree with it." --Medea: Harlans World, edited by Harlan Ellison

--Okay, the closest book I grabbed was one my husband is reading. His taste in books does not mirror my own, but that made this little exercise even more fun!! Peace, JP/deb

"If he thinks these rules and laws are unfair, he tries to have them changed in an orderly manner rather than disobeying them."

I disapprove. Oh, how I disapprove.

I would probably actually do this if I were tagged, but since I'm not I won't. First of all, I'm too lazy to get off the couch to get a book when I have a bunch of other stuff I need to get done yet tonight and secondly because the nearest book(s) is a stack of college textbooks so I know it wouldn't be any fun :)

I probably shouldn't since the book I'm reading is the Monster of Florence and it's pretty gruesome in spots.

"The image may flicker at higher shutter speeds."

This is harder than I thought. The first book I found was a children's book. It didn't have page 56. The second book I found was written in Chinese.

Kelvin Kao's last blog post..Happy (er? or not?) Grouch Day
