I started off with a few lessons (age 5) and then worked out how to play the music I knew. Later this became pop music. My ability to play almost anything on piano means that I've always been in demand by groups, theatres, tv, movies, schools, choirs & clubs etc. I also made quite a lot of money from it. Nowadays, not needing the extra income, I play for free for the local school & other community groups. I'm still enjoying it! I hope that Sage keeps up his enthusiasm for the piano - you can tell him (from me) that it will eventually open up a whole world of opportunity! I'm also disillusioned by politics (although I think Obama is doing quite a good job) and the artificial nature of our society. Local is good and so (imho) is returning to natural medicines, therapies, birth, outdoor pursuits etc....and local communities! Nature knows best! He couldn't do it.
